All beaches within Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch are Dog friendly out of season.
Most beaches ban dogs from the beaches between 1st May and the 30th September.
Dogs always must be kept on a lead when on the promenade, either of the piers, cliff paths and ZigZags at any time of the year.
It is a requirement on the beaches that do allow dog exercise that the owner cleans up after their dog. All of these beaches will have disposal bins for dog waste.
All beaches within the area including isolated ones like Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Sandbank are heavily used by young children throughout the summer. So please ensure they stay safe by cleaning up.
