Beaches within Poole Town

Poole has a range of beaches. These range from the magnificent Sandbanks Beach through to inner harbour beaches like Lake Pier Beach. The inner harbour beaches tend to be used for more water sports. Sea facing beaches tend to be more family orientated. Shore road beach, also has facilities for water sports.

With the beautiful Poole HarbourĀ  many use the harbour for water sports. Visitors on their way to park up in the main Sandbanks car park will often see wind surfers and kite surfers enjoying their sport immediately within the harbour opposite the car park.
