Who I Am

This is the site information for what is in essence a personal site. Bournemouth and Christchurch are my home towns. I have lived here for most of my life. Basically I love the place. Although some of the latest disasters surrounding development (and in some cases the lack thereof) are enough to move me to tears.

This site grew out of another site of mine (Hengistbury Head) around 11 years ago. It has for the last five years been rather neglected. But has always gained enough traffic to justify it’s existence. I put this down to it providing useful (i.e. parking, access and basic beach information) on the beaches it covered. I have now expanded it to all beaches along this coast including Poole beaches and Christchurch Beaches and hope soon to expand it further to include “other stuff”.

Queries and Corrections

I hope you like the site. It is here, really, simply because I wanted to display the beauty of this part of the world. I hope to expand it to cover more aspects of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch beaches and towns as time goes on. I have (as of April 2022) rebuilt the site primarily to make it more manageable. If you find a problem I would be grateful if you could tell me along with what device you were using. If you want to contact me to correct any errors etc please email me here. Thank you.

Advertising and Promotion

There are currently no adverts on this site. But there may well be in the future. Originally this site relied on Google Adverts to pay its hosting fees. So they may pop up again if I get the inclination. I may host other adverts too in the future but this is (at this point in time) not a primary concern of mine.

Privacy Policy

This site does not collect or attempt to collect any private data. Google ads (if clicked) may set a cookie but that’s up to Google not me. Similarly Google analytics may set a short term cookie but this is simply to figure out the statistical user-base of this site. Here is the Google Privacy and Terms Site. No pages on this site are dependant on you revealing any of your own personal data and no personal data needs to be entered at any stage unless you want to send an email to the site owner. If you contact the site owner via email, then all you need is a valid email address. Any email will be regarded as private. Your email address will not be traded or sold or given to anyone else (unless it is to the Police!). It will only be used by me for a reply (if a reply is appropriate) If you are concerned about any aspect of your privacy on this site you may either contact the site administrator by email here .
